What to Wear for your Session!

I think out of all the questions I receive from my clients, one always wins out: WHAT DO WE WEAR??? I always try to point my clients in the direction of color and texture. Don't be afraid of branching out a little. It is perfectly alright if everyone doesn't wear white shirts, I promise! (Not that there is anything wrong with that...but it isn't the only option!) :)

It always works well with groups of people (family sessions, sibling sessions, etc.) when they pick a few colors and go from there. I found this site that even gives ideas of making it all come together. You don't even have to go shopping! Just go peek in every one's closets and see what colors are predominant in each. After you get the basics laid out, throw a scarf on Momma, a hat on lil' brother, a tutu and leggings on big sis and you are ready to go! Think outside the box...sometimes those are the best session outfits.

Here is the link if you want to get your creative juices flowing!

Booking for fall now...keep in mind that Saturdays fill up fast!
Fall family sessions include about an hour of shooting (longer if we need it) and the complete gallery of edited images on CD. You will love being able to print your own holiday cards and use enlarged prints for Christmas presents! Sessions for the remainder of 2010 (September-December) are $150. Having access to all of your photos and not just 2 or 3 will prove invaluable. Email me at ebstuart@conwaycorp.net to reserve your session today.
I look forward to it!

  2. Hey, Becké, I started a photography blog. I'm beginning one of Mike Kemp's photography classes next week so I thought I'd chronicle what I'm learning. :) I've posted some amateur photos. If you get a chance let me know what suggestions you have. I am loving your photos as always. I voted for some of your photos on the Capture Arkansas site. I really hope you make the book!
